We'd love to see you at our next meeting

New businesses in Fife often experience isolation - networking among friends and colleagues can be a rewarding way to market your business and raise your profile in the community.

If you'd like to attend a meeting, they are held every Wednesday at 6.45 a.m. at The Steadings, 93 Bennochy Road, Kirkcaldy, KY2 5RB

Meetings are held weekly partly to build relationships and also so that business enquiries can be passed on quickly. The 6.45 start allows time for a good breakfast before the meeting begins, so everyone is really set up for the day. Meetings finish at about 8.30 a.m. so no-one has to miss time from the day's work, though people often stay a bit later to chat.

The set-up is relaxed and unstuffy; meetings follow a regular agenda but there's room for flexibility when necessary. Visitors are very welcome before they decide whether or not to join.

Once a month a visiting speaker is invited to improve members' business knowledge and skills. Iain Swanston of Sandler Training was one recent guest, giving an action-packed 20-minute training on the sales process including pro-activity, hard work, determination, biggest fears, confronting difficulties, creation and fulfilment, comfort zones, skills, staff and business structures.
